THE WEATHER.
FINE AND SUNNY AGAIN TO-DAY.
Them was another light frost of 3 degrees in Ashburton this morning. Conditions during the morning were fairly warm, the sun shining brightly from a lightly 7 clouded sky. There was a, light fresh breeze.
■ The maximum and minimum temperatuors yesterday were 66.8 and 40.5 degrees respectively, being slightly higher than on the previous day. The barometer was up> to 29.84 inches this morning.
TO-DAY’S FORECAST. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, This Day. The Government Meteorologist, at noon to-day, issued the following statement regarding the weather:— An extensive, anti-eyclcino covers New Zealand and the Tasman Sea. The forecast for the east coast of the South Islancl from Blenheim to Oamaru is as follows : Light to moderate and variable winds but sea breezes freshening on the coast during the day. Weather fine with some light frosts to-night but milder day temperatures. Seas slight.
