ATTITUDE IN AUSTRALIA. NO FORCES FOR OVERSEAS. (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Leader of the Labour^ Party (Mr J. Curtin), in an outline of the party’s war policy, declared that the - Australian Labour Party was inflexibly behind Britain. It 'considered that the primary obligations of Australians were to safeguard Australia. It was opposed to conscription and to the despatch of forces overseas. It was opposed to plunging the Commonwealth into exorbitant debts, believing that the war should W financed from the national credit of the people.
