SURVEY FLIGHTS.
Photographing Germany. MANY OBJECTIVES REACHED. LONDON, November 15. Royal Air Force aeroplanes in. the last few weeks have 'photographed German towns, harbours, and military objectives from low altitudes. On, several occasions they penetrated enemy territory to a depth of 200 miles. They encountered active opposition by enemy fighters and anti-aircraft fire. Nevertheless they succeeded in reaching their objectives. A single reconnaissance machine brought back more than 100 photographs of military objectives. Another photographed 16 enemy aerodromes', and also the defences of Bmden, and! Hamburg. A third flew so low that it actually passed under two Heinkels which were about to land. All but a few .aeroplanes returned to the base, though each flight averaged 400 miles, half across the North Sea and half across Germany.
