WOMEN’S INSTITUTE.

HINDS MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Hinds Women’s Institute was hold in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Airs A. Afoflatt piesiding. A motion of sympathy with the relatives of the late Colin Dellow and the late Mr John Hickey was carried in silence. . The roll call was “A pet aversion.

A very interesting talk on the care of the skin, hair and personal hygiene was given bv Miss P. Robins. It was decided tc. have a “Bring and Buy Day” at the next meeting. Competitions resulted: Covered shoe trees and coat- hangers, Aliss Al. Wilson 1, Mrs R. Simpson 2; .knitted woollen vest, Aliss R. Frampton 1, Aliss L. White 2; sultana cake, Airs R. Simpson 1 ; special in blooms, Mrs R. Simpson 1.

The hostesses were Mesdames A Langdon and J. Lenme.
