LADIES’ GUILD.
ft/fETHYEN METHODISTS MEET
The Methven Methodist Ladies’ Guild mot recently at the home of Mrs C. Chamberlain. Prior to the meeting a devotional service was conducted by the Rev. W. S, Waite.
At the meeting the president (Mrs G. Johns) presided over a good attendance.'
A travel talk on her recent visit to the Pacific Islands and America was given, by the hostess. The monthly competition resulted as follows: Mesdames Melville and Johns (equal) 1, Mrs Chamberlain 2, Airs TV. Grieve 3.
After afternoon tea had been served the president thanked Mrs Chamberlain for her hospitality.
