POST OFFICE EFFICIENCY.

Sir, —In tjie “Guardian” one evening last week you had an article regarding the efficiency of the Postal Department in delivering letters insufficiently addressed. Some time ago a letter was posted to me in Christchurch and the only address on the envelope was— Mr C. E, G 6 Saun. And within a few days it was delivered to me at my house. GG Saunders Rd., Allenton. I think the department deserves great credit for the trouble they take in making inquiries which enable them to forward these insufficiently addressed letters to their proper destination. C. E. NOURISH.
