ASHBURTON SPECIAL AWARDS.
The following special awards and trophies were won by Ashburton exhibitors at the recent Metropolitan Show at Christchurch:—
Glenmark Challenge Cup , for the best Merino ewe in the fine, medium or strong section: Blackford Estate (Mt. Hutt). Best four-tooth English Leicester ewe hogget: R. J. Low (Highbank). Most points in Border Leicesters: R. J. Low, 34 points. Harper Cup, for champion hack: Mrs J. H. Grigg (Longbeach).
