THE TOWN HALL PROPOSAL. • / AMALGAMATION OF ALLENTON. Two important issues, the proposal to erect a Town Hall in Ashburton, with provision for the showing of pictures and a stage for the production of all types of theatrical and allied performances, and the question of,the amalgamation of Allenton in the Borough, will, it is understood, come before the Ashburton Borough Council this evening.
