PLUNKET SOCIETY.

THE NURSES’ REPORTS. There were a fair number of cases of measles among the children during the last month, reported the nurses at the monthly meeting of the Ashburton branch of the Plunket Society yesterday. The president (Mrs F. W. Seldom) presided. The report continued that 50 visits had been made to homes in the Borough, while there were 626 visits to the rooms in this Borough. The figures for the County were 67 and 307 respectively. The car mileage in the Borough was 77 and in the County 549. Remits which will he forwarded to the Dominion Conference at Wellington on November 16 and 1 17 were discussed. The president will represent the branch at the Conference.
