A NATIONAL SERVICE.

AID FOR DAIRY FARMERS. EXPERTS TO CALL AT FARMS. A national dairy larnx instruction service operated by experts who will call on suppliers and give advice on the running of their farms to the best advantage, will start on August 1. An organised system of instruction such as this service will offer will be of great benefit to the uairying industry, it was pointed out to a “Guardian” reporter to-day. The experts would be men familiar with the practical and theoretical sides of the industry and it would be a great help to dairy men to have this knowledge available .to them. It would increase efficiency, as there were many suppliers who did not know where to look for the reasons behind the low grading of their produce, while there were some who were unable to rectify faults even when they had located them.
