STREET PAVING.
TINWALD TOWN PROGRAMME. DETAILS OF SPECIFICATIONS. A decision to include several streets in the specifications for sealing, to be forwarded to the Loans Board with the application for authority to take a poll of ratepayers in connection with the loan for the purpose, w'as made at the meeting last evening of the Tinwald Tow'n Board, at which the chairman (Mr H. B. Millichamp) presided. The streets and lengths decided on are:—
‘ Carter’s Terrace, 33 chains. Graham’s Road East, 33 chains. Graham’s Road. West to Lagmhor Road. 14. chains. Jane Street, 11 chains. Agnes Street, five chains. Johnstone Street, 11 chains. This will give a total length of paving of 107 chains.
It was resolved not to send a delegate to the annual conference of the New' Zealand Association, to lie held at New Plymouth. The board decided to purchase a horse mow’er for use on roads and paths.
