STATE HOUSES.
TENDERS LET FOR TWO AT ASHBURTON. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 25. Tenders have been let for the erection of two houses at Ashburton as part of the Government’s housing scheme, according to an announcement made to-day by Mr J. A. Lee (Parliamentary Under-Secretary in charge of Housing). The successful contractors are Messrs Smith and Black.
