COUNTY UMPIRES’ ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the Ashburton County Cricket Umpires’ Appointment Board was held last evening, the president |(Mr R. H. Biggar) presiding. The following appointments were made for next Saturday:— Senior Grade. Kia Ora v. Old Boys, at Kia Ora, Messrs C. V. McNicol, E. L. Kerr; Ashburton v. Fairfield, on Oval, Messrs R. A. Johnston, G. V. Furby; P.W.I. v. Technical at Technical, Messrs S. M. Cassidy, A. E. Harvey. Junior Grade. Lauriston y. Methven, at Methven, Messrs W. J. Owen, 3>. M. Christie; P.W.I. Irrigation v. Kia Ora, Winchmore, Messrs W. Barrett, E. E. Bell; Technical v. Tinwald, at Tinwald, Messrs G. A. Wall, S. McElhinney; Old Boys v. Coldstream, top ground, Messrs J. Price, W. J. Armstrong.
