WORLD RECORD BY FRENCHMAN (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) PARIS, November 22. An amateur cyclist, Blanc, established at Bordeaux, a world record of 40 miles in one hour, thirty-four minutes, fifty-two seconds, and sixty miles in two hours twenty-eight minutes eleven and one-fifth seconds.
