LODGE MEETING.
THE TINWALD ODDFELLOWS. The quarterly summoned meeting of the Loyal Tinwald Lodge M.U.1.0.0.F. was held last evening, the N.G! (Bro. R. A. Downie) presiding. It was reported that four members were on the sick list, and sick pay amounting to £7 10s was passed in their favour, together with one maternity bonus of £6. A request to finalise the 1938 syllabus at an early date was received from the District Secretary. An invitation to attend the Loyal Hinds Lodge meeting next Saturday was accepted. The Loyal Rakaia Lodge wrote that December 6 would be a suitable date for the visit to the Tinwald Lodge, when a dual installation Avould be carried out. The election of officers resulted:— N.G., Bro. S. J. Patton; V.G., Bro. L. C. Skevington; E.S., Bro. N. E. Whiting.
