BOWLING.
THE RAKAIA CLUB. The championship singles of the Rakaia Bowling Club was played between A. Crossley (two lives) and H.. Rapley (one life) and resulted in a win for A. Crossley, the score being 21-17. The winner will hold the Bram Lee Cup and the gold button for one year, and will also represent the club in the Maddison Trophy to be played in Christchurch next month.
