PROFESSIONALS TOURNEY. DANNEVIRKE, February 25. Nineteen professional golfers from all parts of the Dominion began their annual tournament on the Dannevirke Golf Club’s links in fine, warm weather this morning. Results were:—
Stableford Handicap—B. J. Smith (Auckland) 39, C. C. Clements (Christchurch) 35, G. W. Melvin (Hamilton) 34. Silver King Bogey Handicap-—!'. S. Galloway 3 up, A. J. Shaw 1 up, C. C. Clements 1 down, E. J. Moss 1 down. On the count back Clements took third place.
