MINIATURE RIFLES.
THE STAVELEY CLUB. Two shoots of the Gardiner Trophy for Ladies have been held by the Staveley Miniature Rifle Club, and five shooters have qualified for the finals. They are Mrs Flynn, Miss A. Smith, Miss E. Christiansen, Miss L. Smith, and Miss L. Cooke. The finals will be

THE ASHBURTON CLUB. Tho weekly shoot ot the Ashburton Miniature Rifle Club was held, last evening, when a Club trophy competition was completed. It. Iteddecliffe was the winner. Details are:— H. E. Shepherd (4) 78, 77, 76,' 77; G. Lusk (8) 77, 19, 79, 78; R. Watson (15) 9,6, 78, 78. The weekly button was won by L. McNatty (80), after a shoot-off with G. Lusk.
