THE METHVEN CLUB. There have been good attendances, with very keen shooting, in a series of matches by the Methven Miniature Rifle Club during the past week. For a club trophy three shoot-offs were necessary. Scores were: J. E. Carr 70 (2) 70, J. Rouse 62 (6) 62, T. Middleton 67 (2) 69, IT. Noble 70 (3) 70, JO. J. Watson 56 (9) 65, C. Black 66 (6) 70, IV. Lumsden 68 (2) 70. In the first shoot-off Carr scored 69 (2) 70, Noble 69 (3) 70, Black 63 (6) 69, Lumsden 67 (2) 69. In the second shoot-off the scores were: Carr 69 (2) 70, Noble 67 (3) 70.
