Two masked armed men visited Hoyt’s picture theatre in Bourke Street, City, to-day, locked three members of the office staff in the strong room, and escaped in a waiting motor-car with the complete holiday takings, amounting to nearly £2OCO. The money was in two leather bags ready for banking. The men were followed by a cleaner into Little Bourke Street, but were out of sight before a policeman could be located.
