AIRPORT AT BERLIN.
HITLER PLANS EXTENSION. FOR TFICATIONS ON RHINE. LONDON, March 28. A huge covered runway will he a feature ‘of the German airport on the Templehof, Berlin, which Herr Hitler intends to make the world’s greatest commercial aerodrome. The existing aerodrome, which copes with 1000 incoming and outgoing aeroplanes daily, is regarded as inadequate for future requirements. Hitler, who flies everywhere, believes that soon nobody will travel beyond 500 miles except by air. The runway will he two anci a haii times greater than any in existence. It will be covered with a shed-like structure to enable any aeroplane to start or land with ease and in perfect safety day or night in any weather, including fog. The “Daily Mail” simultaneously publishes a Cologne report of the fei - tifieatiens of the Rhineland, including exercise places, military roads, motoi roads, and new railways, all begun since Hitler’s entry into the 12-mile zone, which the Locarno Powers propose toi internationalise. Completion with not he long delayed. The great military works have been disguised as Labour Front training camps.
