ALLIANCE OF LABOUR.
THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, April 14. The annual conference of the New Zealand Alliance of Labour, which was held in the Trades Hall, Wellington, opened last Tuesday, and terminated to-day after dealing with a very heavy agenda paper. Tt also dealt with the Bill amending the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act brought down by the Minister for Labour, and suggested amendments to the Shops and Offices Act, and other industrial legislation. The following officers were unanimously elected for the ensuing year: President, Mr L. Glover; vice-president, Mr F. P. Walsh; secretary-treasurer, Mr A. W. Croskery.
