LORD BLEDISLOE.

MAY ATTEND CENTENARY. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 14. It is probable that Viscount Bledisloe, formerly Governor-General of New Zealand, will visit the Dominion in 1940, to take part in the centenary celebrations. In a letter received by the Mayor of Auckland (Mr Ernest Davis), Lord Bledisloe mentions his interest in the arrangements being made for the centenary. He adds: “I shall look forward in clue course to hearing what your final programme is, and I hope by God’s blessing to be a humble yet fervant participant in .your national and civic rejoicings and thanksgivings when 1940 comes.”
