GOLD CUP DONATED. SURPRISE FOR RACING CLUB. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, This Day. A handsome gold cup valued at 100 guineas has been donated to the Wellington Racing Club by one of its oldest members, as an addition to the prize for next week's Wellington Cup. The gift came as a complete surprise, the club being notified that it was being made only yesterday. The donor desires »to remain anonymous. TO ATTEND YEARLING SALES. (Received This Day, 8.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The prominent trainer, G. Price, will leave for New Zealand to-morrow to attend the yearling sales.
