Parliament re-assembled in an atmosphere of excitement. Deputies returned from their constituencies fired by reforming zeal. * The general impression is that M. Laval's chances of surviving until the elections are more slender than they were in December, as many desire to deprive him of control of the electoral machine, which all parties covet at this time.
