The Australian tail-enders made merry before* the innings closed, after 285 minutes. Davis bowled excellently, his performance being recognised by the selectors, and he is almost certain to he nominated: for the test. The Africans’ second innings wis just a procession after Bennett and Robson had appeared to master the opening attack.
