COLONIAL NEEDS
GERMANY TO PRESS CLAIM. GENTLY, TACTFULLY BUT FIRMLY MANY LABOURERS LEAVING. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, January 8. The “Sun-Herald” says that added interest to the colonies movement, which is the subject of almost daily dispatches from Berlin, Rome and Tokio, is the “Guardian’s” statement that Germany will press her claim for colonies gently and tactfully, but firmly in 1936. Emigration to German colonies simultaneously receives discreed encouragement. A considerable number of German manual labourers is steadily departing for East Africa.
