THE AIR MAILS.

□ ELAYS IN DELIVERY. DUE TO ABNORMAL WEATHER. £ (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, January 8. Referring to complaints from Australia regarding the constant' delay in the arrival of English air mail, Imperial Airways state that the delays have been due entirely to the abnormally bad winter weather in the northern hemisphere, which has equally delayed the French and Dutch air services to the Far East, while some delay was also occasioned in Italy during the rail carriage of mails from Paris to Brindisi, owing to abnormal conditions in Italy. There is now no political obstacle to flying the mail throughout, but pending the construction of the new fleet, it is not intended to abandon the present practice of sending mails from Paris to Brindisi by train.
