BLUE STAR LINE’S RESEARCH.
NEW STEAMERS BUILDING

LONDON, October 29. The Blue Star steel-built and (Dieselengined cargo steamer Dunedin Stai, of 10,000 tons and 522 ft in length was launched at Cammel Laird’s yards at Birkenhead. The building of the Dunedin Star’s sister ship has already begun. Sir Edmund Vestey pointed out that the Government Research Department’s discovery of a method of shipping chilled meat from New Zealand and Australia had 1 called for the building of £5,000,000 worth of steamers.
