CROQUET.
THE ASHBURTON CLUB.
PROGRESSIVE O GRADE TOURNAMENT.
A progressive croquet tournament for C grade players was held by the Ashburton Club yesterday afternoon, when 16 members took part. The tournament was won by Mrs R. H. Biggar, with Mrs A. Amos second; and a sealed numbers’ match was won by Mrs W. .J. Moore, with Mrs J. Fletcher second.
On behalf of the members, Mrs Andrew Lane (president) thanked the hostesses, Mesdames A. Horsey and R. J. Thompson, for the enjoyable afternoon.
