FERRIER’S GREAT FORM. SYDNEY, October 18. Playing in the Lakes Club open golf championship to-day Jim Fenner returned a card of 68, which is four under par, and one stroke worse than the course record established by the American, Craig Wood, last year. S. Bolger won the championship with an aggregate of 141. Ferrier was second with 142, and W. Bolger and A. Waterson equal tim’d with scores of 145.

Golf of a standard rarely if ever equalled in a New Zealand championship was produced in the final of the professional championship ever 36 holes yesterday, A. Murray (Auckland), who has already won the open and professional foursomes championships, gained the triple crown by beating A.
