THE 1905 ALL BLACKS. PROLIFIC SCORERS. On his tour with the 1905 All Blacks W. J. Wallace registered 227 points, made up as follows; Twenty-two tries, 72 conversions, three penalty goals and two potted goals. J. Hunter scored 123 by 41 tries. G. W. Smith and R. G. Deans both passed the 50 mark with 19 and 17 tries respectively. Mark Nicholls headed the 1924 team’s scoring list. He notched 103 points, as follows:—One try, 35 conversions, six penalty goals and three potted goals. Nepia was next with 70 points (29 conversions and four penalty goals). A. H. Hart scored 60 (20 tides), A. E. Cooke 57 (19 tries); K. S. Svenson 54 (18 tries); and J. Steel 51 (17 tries). The youngest member of the IJOo All Blacks was R. G. Deans, 21 years, and of the 1924 team, G. Nepia, 19 years. The youngest players of the present touring team are J. G. Wynyard and B. £>• Sadler, who have just turned 21.
