INDIANS DEFEAT MAORI TEAM.
AUCKLAND, This Day. In the last match of their New Zealand tour, the Indian hockey team beat a Maori representative eleven at Rotorua on Wednesday by 11 goals to 1. The match was played in very un-
favourable weather, but there was an enthusiastic attendance. The Indians will sail from. Auckland to-day by the Marama for Sydney. They will tour New South Wales for a fortnight, and afterwards leave Australia from Melbourne by the Moreton Bay for Colombo.
ALL-AUSTRALIA TOURNAMENT.
MELBOURNE, July 25
In the All-Australia women’s hockey tournament, South Australia beat Queensland by 2 goals to 0, Tasmania beat Western Australia by 4 goals tp 1, and Victoria beat New South Wales by 2 goals to 1.
