THE HUNT.
ASHBURTON BRANCH COMMITTEE ’ The committee of the Ashburton branch of the Christchurch Hunt Club met last evening, Mr A. J. Niooll presiding* over a good attendance. The balance-sheets in connection with the point-to-point meeting and the annual ball were received and considered most satisfactory. Owing to the indisposition of the huntsman (Mi* J. H. Selby), it was stated that the hounds could not visit Ashburton again this season.
