THE ASHBURTON ASSOCIATION. TEAMS TO MEET CANTERBURY. Teams representing the Ashburton Basketball Association against Canterbury on Saturday will be selected from the following:— , Seniors—Forwards: Mrs I. Holland, Misses J. McMillan, M. Wallis and M. Forsyth. Centre: Miss R. Spedding. Wing centres: Misses E. Meredith, ; M. Brosnahan and L. Wilson. iDefence: Misses I. McLennan, A. Wells, T. Stalker and O. Spedding. Juniors —Forwards: Misses M. Forsyth, E. Donaldson and M. McGee. Centre: Miss H. Grice. Wing centres: Misses M. Alexander and 1.. Stringer. Defence : Misses J. Knight, S. Harper and R. Andrews. The referees will be Mr S. G. Macfarlane and one Canterbury referee, the scorer Miss C. Tyndall, the timekeeper Mr CL Ives, the linesmen Mrs Cowan, Misses Coward, R. Doak, R. M. Doak, Miller, McTigue, Sutherland and Mr A. Meredith, and the newspaper reporter Mr R. J. Thompson.
