Holmes (Surrey) has accepted the captaincy of the Marylebone Cricket Club’s team to tour New Zealand. THE SOUTH AFRICAN TEAM MATCH WITH NORTHUMBERLAND (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) LONDON, July 24. In a two-day match against the South Africans,"Northumberland in the first innings scored 198 (Lee 50, McKay 40). Crisp took six wickets for 41, and Langton two for 47. South Africa in the first innings scored 203 for four (Rowan 50, Nourse 52).
