Don Bradman has announced that he will not be available for the South African cricket tour, as his health is not sufficiently satisfactory to undertake a strenuous tour. He hopes to be fit by the time the Englishmen arrive in Australia.
SOUTH AFRICANS IN BRITAIN. LONDON, April 25. In a country house match at Godalming (Surrey) the South. Africans declared at 156 for six (Mitchell 50, Nourse 34). Their opponents did not bat, the game being abandoned owing to rain.
WYATT FIT TO CAPTAIN. LONDON, April 25. R. E. S. Wyatt will be fit to captain Marylebone against Surrey on Wednesday.
