HEAD IN PARCEL.
MELBOURNE CHILDREN’S FIND. MAN TAKES POSSESSION. (United Press Association—Copyright). (Received This Day, 9.55 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Children who were playing on a vacant allotment at South Richmond found a parcel which— -according to their story to the police—contained a woman’s head. They said they were on the way to the police station when a man took the parcel from them, saying he would give information to the police. This was not done. # The police take a grave view ot the matter, because, they state, each child on being questioned separately, told exactly the same story.
