CROQUET.
THE ALLENTON CLUB. Owing to the Geraldine Croquet Club defaulting to Allenton in an A Hag match at the last minute, the Allenton Club conducted an all-day progressive tournament on the green on Thursday. Several visiting players from North Canterbury took jjart, and one donated a trophy for the day. The competition was won by Mrs L. A. Walker.
