SAFE BLOWN OPEN.
BOROUGH! MONEYS STOLEN. <Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 7. Burglars entered the offices of the New Lynn Borough Council last evening and forced three doors leading to a fireproof room in which stood the council's safe. They blew the door off the safe with gelignite and stole £B7. mostly in £5 notes. The money had been paid in yesterday by ratepayers.
