THE ROYAL TOUR.
PRINCE DRINKS BILLY TEA. AMONG THE TALL TIMBER. (United Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, October 26. • Prince Henry to-day enjoyed a motor tour of the southern coastal belt of New South Wales, among the tall timber and tree ferns of the mountain ridges, the most picturesque scenery in Australia. He had lunch in a bark hut, drinking billy tea, and listened attentively to the whip birds and the kookaburras. This outing contrasted sharply with the glamour of the State ball at Canberra. •The storm which had been causing floods in Gippsland ceased before the Prince crossed the Victorian border. Sunshine gleamed through the trees along the winding forest road as the procession of royal motors swept round the hairpin bends. Road workers and settlers on isolated farms gathered to cheer the Prince as he passed.
