MEN OUT FOURTEEN WEEKS. LOSS OF £ISOO IN WAGES. REEFTON, This Day. The strike at the Blackwater mines has been settled. The men receive the terms ruling previous to 1931 “cut,” offered by the company, contractors getting an increase of 2s a shift for wet places. ‘ The strike has been progress 14 weeks, and a loss of £ISOO in wages has been incurred. There Is no change in regard to the strike at the Alexander mine.
