TOURNAMENT AT TIMARU. Record entries (46) have been received for the South' Canteibuiy Basketball Association’s inter : club tournament at Timaru on the Ihng s birthday. Several Ashburton clubs have sent entries forward, and the draw for matches in which they are taking part is:— “A” Grade. Section D—First round: Tinwald v. Clandeboye (A) (9.45). Second round: Tinwald v'. St. Joseph’s (10.45). Third round 1 : Tinwald v. Oainaru Star (1 p.m.). ' , m , Section E—First round: Temuka High School! v. Ashburton Convent Old Girls (10). Second round: Oamaru (B) v. Ashburton Convent Old Girls (11.30). Third round: Ashb.urton Convent Old Girls, a bye.. Fourth round: Ashburton Convent Old Girls v. Temuka High School Old Girls (B) (2.30). Fifth round: Pleasant Point (A) y. Ashburton Convent Old Girls (2.45).
