The Foreign Office has been informed by the Soviet Embassy that for the purpose of facilitating commercia operations in the United Kingdom pending the conclusion of ' a new tiade agreement, the Soviet Govenrment has authorised M. Alexandre Osersky (Soviet trade representative in Great Britain) to sign letters of guarantee and to enter into other commercial transactions on its behalf.—British Official W ireless.
