LADY FERGUSSON.
RECOVERING FROM ACCIDENT (Ter Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 6. A letter dated February, received by the Governor-General this week from Mr James Fergusson, eldest son of Sir Charles Fergusson, contains the news that Lady Alice Fergusson, who met with a motor accident in December, is making satisfactory progress toward recovery, and at the time of writing was able to leave her room. In view, however, of the serious nature of the accident her medical advisers do not expect her to be completely restored to health for some months. Sir Charles Fergusson, who at the time of the accident was in the West Indies acting as chairman of a Royal Commission, was expected to return to England in March on completion of the Commission’s investigations.
