THEFT OF £2OOO IN JEWELS. Detectives from Vine Street London were searching the West End one night recently for a bandit who threw pepper in the face of Mr Arthur Beiman, a jeweller, at his office m Haymarket, and snatched a bag containing jewellery valued at £2OOO Tho attack was made shortly alter the luncheon hour while. His eves were streaming from the elicit or the pepper and he was unable to see where the man went. .
