UNREST IN SPAIN.
PLOT FRUSTRATED. ATTEMPT TO FREE PRISONERS. (United Press Association—Copyright., MADRID, March 11. The presence in a Jnca hotel of 20 strangers (‘ailing themselves commercial travellers led to the discovery of an alleged and audacious plot to free a number of prisoners who are awaiting trial for participation in the Jaca revolt. The rescuers planned to rush the citadel and burn the building where documents referring to the forthcoming trial were housed. They then proposed to overpower the guards at the French end of the Confrnne tunnel, enabling the prisoners lo escape into France. The authorities rushed in reinforcements of the Civil Guard, thus preventing the attempt. Many arrests have been made.
