FLOODS SUBSIDE.
COMMUNICATIONS RESUMED. (Per Press Association.) NELSON, April 10. The flood waters in Aloutere district quickly disappeared, and all services are running as usual to-day. The Spooner’s Range tunnel has been cleared and train services were resumed. . At Harake (Lower Aloutere) 8.65 inches of rain were recorded on Avednesday morning up to 9 o’clock. The greatest portion fell between fjjvo and four.
