The worst storm in the history of Western Australia did great damage to the wheat belt. Thirty farms north of Bungulla and the. adjoining district were devastated by a Avail of water eight feet high, which sAveot the locality after a cloudburst had filled the creeks to overfloAving. At one spot hail piled against fences to a depth of three feet. , Farmers are seeking Government aid in effecting repairs, and are urging that unemployed might be sent.
