ENGLAND DEFEATS SCOTLAND. LONDON, April 6. In the international Soccer match, England! beat Scotland by 5 goals to 2. A great Scottish invasion of London in connection with the international match at Wembley began before dawn on Saturday. The pipes were skirling bravely in Euston in the morning, but were wailing laments in the evening, some who had entrained rendering “Lochaber No More.” Out of 9Q,000 spectators, no fewer than 30,009 were Scots. Nearly all were wearing paper tartan caps. Mr Ramsay MacDonald and his daughter Ishbell were among the distinguished spectators. There were anxious moments when a surplus crowd of 20,000 besieged the gates and the police checked sporadic fighting. High Scottish hopes faded shortly after the start, when Watson (English centre forward), scored twice in quick succession. Bradford followed with two goals, making four goals in 33 minutes.

Rimmer in the second half brought the English total to five goals. Fleming (Scottish centre forward) provided consolation by scoring twice before the whistle.
